In Situ Growth of Cyclodextrin‐Based Metal Organic Framework Air Filters for Reusable SO<sub>2</sub> Adsorbent Applications

In situ growth of cyclodextrin-based metal-organic frameworks (CD-MOFs) is investigated for the effective fabrication MOF composites through vapor diffusion method combined with O2 plasma treatment. The rate γ-CD-MOFs on poly(ethylene terephthalate) fibers (CD-MOFs–PET) determined 136 h, and CD-MOFs-PET 24 h time shows highest surface area without crystal deformation. specific 142.88 m2 g−1, which 235 times higher than pristine PET fibers. removal efficiencies 99% PM0.1 95% SO2 gas. demonstrates high recovery adsorption ability by repeated adsorption-desorption cycles, maintaining up to 90% initial performance. This study intends provide an informative discussion applicability textile-based CD-MOFs development reusable filters SO2.
